Health/wellness/life as a breast cancer survivor.
Guide to living your best life!

A Slightly Different Journey
For those of you who have followed our travel blog, I ask you to come join me on a slightly different journey. I created this space to share my journey with breast cancer—the raw moments, the hard-won victories, and the lessons learned along the way. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, supporting a loved one, or seeking information and hope, you’re not alone here. This page is a therapy for me in journaling this experience. I hope to look back someday and close this out knowing it is all behind me and that it becomes an archive of sorts to help the next person along the way.
When I first heard the words “cancer” over the phone, my world shifted. It was like someone sucked all the air out of the room and it was quickly filled with an overwhelming amount of emotions, information and decisions. I had so many questions, fears, and uncertainty. But through the whirlwind of biopsies, pathology reports, and treatment decisions, I am sure I will find strength, resilience, and an unwavering determination to fight.
This blog is my way of keeping friends and family updated and giving back. I will be ropen and honest on my reflections of navigating the emotional and physical challenges of breast cancer, practical tips on treatment and recovery, and research-backed information on lifestyle choices that can support healing and reduce recurrence risk. I’ll also share insights on alternative and integrative therapies as I explore the.
But beyond the science and strategies, this blog is simply about connection where honesty, vulnerability, and hope can thrive. Whether you’re seeking answers, encouragement, or simply a sense of community, I hope you find comfort here.
